Valentine’s Day Reflection – 14/02/2025
I found myself taking a solitary stroll on Valentine’s Day, like Billy No Mates, I can only speculate that the rest of the “Hand Pumped Tetley crew” were busy preparing to welcome a flood of heartfelt cards. It must truly be a delightful feeling to be so cherished! ❤️😂
On a positive note, there’s something to be said for occasionally enjoying one’s own company. It offers an opportunity for reflection and gratitude, allowing me to appreciate the simple joys in life, such as the soothing sound of birdsong and the comforting rhythm of my footsteps against the ground. It serves as a poignant reminder that not everyone has the chance to relish these basic delights that we often overlook.
Without delving into politics, it’s encouraging to witness world leaders engaging in dialogue with one another. Communication is essential in all aspects of life, which is why I firmly believe in the importance of CHECKING IN with one another. Let’s make it a point to do this today. 🙏🙏
That one call could truly make a difference for someone. 📞
It’s also great to see the Super League back in action, especially with Wakefield Trinity making a winning return to the spotlight. It’s a prime example of community spirit and the dedication of many passionate individuals. I’m looking forward to Thursday night’s clash with Hull K R.
And Yesterday morning, I enjoyed a swim 🏊♀️ with a good friend of over 50 years, and we managed to sort out the world’s issues.
To wrap up, make sure to reach out to someone in the next 24 hours—it can really brighten their day and make them feel loved 🙏
